Escape into Tanzania’s unspoiled wilderness with this 5-day safari through two of the country’s most pristine national parks: Mikumi and Ruaha. The journey starts with a scenic drive to Mikumi, get to track Africa’s Big Four. You’ll continue your adventure to Ruaha National Park, experience breathtaking wildlife, and enjoy a day of exploration in its untouched landscapes. You’ll embark on Iringa, then wind down your journey with a scenic overnight in Morogoro before returning to Dar es Salaam.

Day 1 :

Dar Es Salaam To Mikumi National Park (Half-Day Game Drive)

Your safari begins with a scenic drive from Dar es Salaam (approx. 4–5 hours) to Mikumi National Park, where a wealth of wildlife awaits.
Upon arrival, you'll dive straight into a half-day game drive across Mikumi’s wide-open plains.
Watch elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and lions roam freely in their natural habitat.
Then, you will end the day with a relaxing evening at your lodge, surrounded by the sounds of the African bush.

Day 2 :

Morning Game Drive In Mikumi Then Drive Out To Ruaha National Park

You'll start your day with an early morning game drive in Mikumi, where you'll have another chance to observe the park’s incredible wildlife before the heat of the day sets in.
Afterward, you'll begin your scenic drive to Ruaha National Park (approx. 4–5 hours), passing through local villages and stunning landscapes.
Upon arrival at your lodge, you'll unwind and enjoy the evening in the peaceful atmosphere of Ruaha, one of Tanzania’s most remote and pristine parks.

Day 3 :

Full-Day Game Drive In Ruaha National Park

You'll embark on a full-day game drive in Ruaha National Park, a hidden gem known for its diverse wildlife and rugged beauty. You'll explore vast savannahs, riverine forests, and rolling hills while tracking elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, and abundant birdlife.

You'll take a packed lunch in the bush, and continue your safari adventure until the evening.
Ruaha’s untouched wilderness offers some of the best wildlife encounters in Tanzania, making this day a true highlight.

Day 4 :

Cultural Tour In Iringa & Drive To Morogoro

After breakfast, you'll drive to Iringa, the gateway town to Ruaha, where you'll enjoy a shortened city and cultural tour.
You'll explore local markets, visit the historical Iringa Boma, and interact with local artisans.
You will learn about the region’s rich history and culture before continuing your journey toward Morogoro Town (approx. 3–4 hours’ drive).
You'll enjoy a relaxing overnight stay in Morogoro, a charming town nestled between lush hills and fertile farmlands.

Day 5 :

Drive Back To Dar Es Salaam

On your final day, you will enjoy a scenic drive back to Dar es Salaam (approx. 3–4 hours), where your safari adventure concludes. You’ll have time to relax and reflect on the unforgettable memories before heading to the airport for your return flight home or continuing your journey to Zanzibar for a beach holiday extension.

This day will mark the end of your lifetime Safari adventure, and always we say – Karibu Tena! (You’re Welcome Back!).
